Making Calgary a Cleaner Place to Live
On Sunday, May 6, ConocoPhillips volunteers and their families helped to clean up Pearce Estate Park as part of the City of Calgary’s Parks and River Pathway Clean-up.
ConocoPhillips was the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s event.
“ConocoPhillips is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the City of Calgary’s Parks and River Pathway Clean-up,” said Evelyn Ferchuk, Director of Communications and Community Investment, in a news release from the City of Calgary. “Environmental sustainability is important to us. Myself, and all of our ConocoPhillips volunteers, were pleased to work together with our fellow Calgarians to keep our city clean and beautiful.”
Staff and their families showed up ready to help, donning their ConocoPhillips volunteer t-shirts, gloves and protective footwear for the event.
The City of Calgary’s Parks and Pathway River Clean-up is just one of many initiatives that ConocoPhillips staff support. We actively volunteer in the communities where we live and operate, accumulating over 1,717 volunteer hours in 2017.
