About

Teaming up with the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation, the Montney team helped plan a bingo night for 72 eager and enthusiastic bingo players. Mike Bannister, Operations Superintendent, hosted the lively games where winners won CPC merchandise and gift cards. After an exciting game, the Montney team helped plate and serve, and shared a meal of Chinese food with the Villa’s more than 120 residents.

ConocoPhillips Canada has worked with the Foundation since 2013 as part of our efforts to support the FSJ community, helping with various initiatives and donating funds that enable the delivery of patient care and comfort at Fort St. John Hospital and Peace Villa.

“A lot of our volunteers were first introduced to residents at Peace Villa when we supported Healthcare Workers’ Appreciation Week last year,” says Kirk MacLellan, Operations Superintendent. “It was a rewarding and eye-opening experience that prompted our team to start thinking about other ways we could directly support the residents of Peace Villa.”

"It’s so great that we can have this level of interaction with our community,” says Rolande Reinboldt, Production Administrator. “One of the residents at my table was an engineer who worked in the oil and gas industry for many years, giving us lots to talk about. It was really rewarding to spend time with folks who have given so much to our community over the years.”

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, particularly our staff!
