Walt Bass
Vice President, Canada Finance
Walt Bass was named ConocoPhillips Canada's vice president, Finance, in January 2026.
Bass has 22 years of accounting, F&PA, audit, planning and strategy and managerial experience. He began his career with ConocoPhillips in 2006 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, in the Global Internal Audit group.
During his tenure at the company, Bass has held numerous finance and management positions, including at the corporate head office and as vice president, Finance and IT, in the China and Alaska business units. Most recently, he led the Finance group for the Gulf Coast and Rockies business unit in Houston.
Bass earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
