Brett Denton

Brett Denton was named ConocoPhillips Canada's manager, Digital Technologies, in November 2024.
Denton has 24 years in the oil and gas industry and more than 28 years of IT experience across multiple sectors. His career highlights include founding and leading a successful IT consulting firm, as well as building a proven track record of strategic leadership and technology innovation. He is recognized for his leadership, developing strong business partnerships and consistently delivering transformational solutions that drive operational excellence.
Since joining ConocoPhillips in 2006, Denton has held various leadership positions in Corporate, Lower 48 and Alaska, and has served key roles in asset acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring and transformation.
He is passionate about people and career development and currently serves as the leadership sponsor for Canada Girls Talk Tech and the Canada Women's Network.
Denton earned a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma, holds a FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate and has achieved technical certifications in SAP and AWS Cloud.
