Below are some of the highlights of the group benefit plans available to most Canadian paid employees at ConocoPhillips Canada. It is not a summary plan description or official plan document. If there is any conflict between this information and the official plan documents, the official plan documents will govern.

Provincial Health Care
  • 50/50 cost sharing between ConocoPhillips and employees, for those provinces that charge a premium. 

Supplemental Health Care
  • This plan is designed to supplement your provincial plan which means you’ll be reimbursed for such health care services and supplies as prescription drugs, semi-private hospital coverage and ambulance service.
  • 100% of premium is paid by ConocoPhillips
 
Dental Insurance
  • This plan is designed to provide you and your family with a dental care program ranging from cleanings and fillings to major services and braces.
  • 100% of premium is paid by ConocoPhillips
 
Vision Care Plan
  • Coverage is provided for you and your family for vision care expenses.
  • 100% of premium is paid by ConocoPhillips.
 
Short-Term Disability
  • This plan provides you with income protection for illness or injury not related to work for up to 52 weeks either at 100% or 75% of base pay, dependent on years of service.
 
Long-Term Disability
  • Provides a benefit equal to 70% of your monthly salary (to a max. monthly benefit of $16,000)
  • 75/25 cost sharing between ConocoPhillips and employees
 
Health Care Spending Account
  • Each year the company provides you with an allowance. You may choose to allocate any or all of this allowance to your Health Spending Account to pay for eligible out of pocket health and dental claims.
